NRV Time Bank
The New River Valley Time Bank is an organization that connects people to share skills and services, using time rather than dollars. NRV Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of the New River Valley is our local chapter of the international organization. Its mission is to build “strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.” It accomplishes this primarily by building homes for people in need, but it also engages both future homeowners and volunteers as part of the home building process to cultivate capacity in construction. Habitat also operates the ReStore in Christiansburg, which sells used furniture, appliances, and construction materials.
